Jorell Meléndez-Badillo's current work explores the global circulation of radical ideas from the standpoint of working-class intellectual communities in Puerto Rico. His teaching specializations include Latin America and the Caribbean, with additional expertise in the region's human rights, working classes, and radical movements.
He is currently a Humanities Institute Fellow at the University of Connecticut. On July 1st, 2018, he will join Dartmouth College's Department of History as a Mellon Faculty Fellow, transitioning to the position of Assistant Professor of History on July 1st, 2020.
